Newsletter Body in Balance Clinic
Water Retention (3)
Dear Client,
In our July newsletter, we looked at the many faceted symptoms of water retention and the subsequent effects inside the body. In our August newsletter, we started looking at Sodium as being one of the contributing factors towards this unpleasant imbalance.
Since the New Millennium has brought the energy of empowerment to mankind, let’s open our eyes to the immense power we have over our wellbeing. Let’s open our eyes and accept responsibility for our actions which will ultimately result in the power of choice. Having read our August newsletter, I trust you are now choosing to supply less Sodium into your precious body!
Now, let’s examine some further substances that can contribute towards surplus water content or water retention in the human body:
Having practised now for over 22 years, I have often been confronted with swollen calves and ankles and a shiny appearance of the skin in this area, especially on teenagers. And in many cases, an oversupply of cheese was the major contributing factor towards this imbalance. But, you may exclaim, cheese is so healthy! Yes, but every body reacts to substances supplied into it in it’s own particular way. There are various types of cheeses available and some of them contain high amounts of the same Sodium we discussed in our previous newsletter. Some types of cheeses are very heavy to digest and attention should be paid as to what is being ingested at the same meal. Just imagine the overload to your digestive system when eating steak and chips followed by a variety of high Sodium/ high fat cheeses. When a body becomes overburdened, imbalances can set in, i.e. water retention.
In order to eliminate water retention, as an adult exercise the power of choice: rather choose low Sodium/ low fat cheeses and make sure you chew them especially well!
Should you be interested in gaining more empowerment over your body and quality of life, check out the book: "Magic Steps towards a Slim Body and Healthy Mind", available on our site www.bodyclinic.co.za or send Email to kontakt@balance-center.at
May I leave you with the thought of the month: Treat the present for what it is: A PRECIOUS GIFT TO YOU!
Love and Light
